Description


This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Thad Jones “The Magnificent” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1527.  The flat-rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster and just a few light inaudible scuffs; perhaps played once or twice.  The coated Lexington Avenue frame cover is also in excellent condition, bright and clean throughout; nearly imperceptible 4” repair on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Billy Mitchell, Barry Harris, Percy Heath, and Max Roach.  $750.00.
