This deluxe double album BOX SET is identifed as Folkways Records RF 202, this was issued in 1964, and was compiled and annotated by Sam Charters, and it comes with an eight page booklet. Thirty-six tremendous and definitive country blues recordings by; Robert Johnson, Hambone Willie Newborn, Will Shade, Furry Lewis, Sleepy John Estes, Lil Son Jackson, Blind Boy Fuller, Arthur Crudup, Charlie Pickett, Kokomo Arnold, Blind Willie Johnson, Tommy McClennan, Blind Willie McTell, Charlie Burse, Charlie Lincoln, Lightning Hopkins, Furry Lewis, Bukka White, Peg Leg Howell, Papa Charlie Jackson, Skip James, Leroy Carr & Scrapper Blackwell, Sonny Terry and Oh Red, Frank Stokes, Virgil Perkins, Brownie McGhee, Moochie Reeves, and Ham Gravy. This album comes in VG+ condition because there is a scratch on five of the songs, the rest of the songs are in Excellent health, the box's condition is uniformly Excellent as well, there is some wear on the spine, but the hinge is still intact.
