Description
The Rolling Stones---Ultra Rare Withdrawn Shadow Sleeve---"Aftermath"---Original UK Pressed Mono Album In VG Condition On The Red Unboxed Decca Label---4B and 4A From 1966
This is a UK copy from 1966 in mono on the red unboxed Decca label, cat. no. LK.4786 with matrices 4B and 4A.
Vinyl: VG. The vinyl is in nice condition with a great shine and just a few light, non feelable scratches each side. It plays through with no sticking, heavy clicks or jumping and has surface crackle and some light ticking in places. It has been played well in its 50 years.
Labels: EX. Labels are in nice condition with no markings. There is very light spindle wear so it has been handled carefully.
Sleeve: VG. The sleeve is the rarest withdrawn shadow version with the white "AFTER-MATH" text having the purple shadow around it. It is in pretty good but (as often) fairly limp condition with some edge and corner wear and the spine has been flattened. There is also a little laminate lift and thumb creasing on the front. The white unlaminated back is quite heavily discoloured from age. The original inner sleeve is in EX condition.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
