DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION:
This record is old stock from my defunct record store, which I closed almost 10 years ago. I will be listing a lot of sealed old stock jazz, rock, soul and blues LP's as well as test pressings and other rarities this Fall and Winter.This test pressing has only been played a few times and is in excellent, undamaged condition. The official release is a very rare and sought after record. This test pressing is exceedingly rare. The late Fred Cole signed this to (the late) Thor (Lindsay), who was the A&R man for Tim Kerr records. This disc came from the Tim Kerr vaults. Maybe Tim Kerr was looking at reissuing it. The original release was on Whizeagle Records, Fred's own imprint, and was released in 1983, about 7 or 8 years before the founding of Tim Kerr Records.
The Rats were very similar to Dead Moon with Fred and Toody plus a drummer (Louis Samora, later of the Jackals).
Near Mint. Since it is a test pressing, there is no cover.
