The Hunter-Schreger Band (Rare Deroy Label 10" LP)
Rare as hen's teeth - with a private press feel to the record. This is a twelve track Folk/Country/Rock LP released in 1967 on Deroy Sound Service.
Tracks include cover versions of The Beatles - Norwegian Wood, as well as Bald Headed Lena, Putting On The Style, Tom Dooley, Leaning On A Lamp Post, San Francisco Bay and other traditional songs of the day.
Front sleeve is black & white and shows the band busking and the rear cover has six black & white photos, plus humorous descriptions of the five band members and their origins.
This is a true rarity and for fans of Folk private pressings, a valuable addition to any collection.
Record is Ex+, only a few plays. Sleeve is Ex.
