Moravagine was the first band of future active members of Chute Libre, the mythical french jazz funk combo.As for music, this is a huge melting pot of influence, ranging from afro jazz to samba, to folk, to free jazz music and so on. This is experimentation without the cheesiness, people who were not afraid to try everything they had in their mind. Don't take my words only, excellent flute groove of “Funky Seven”, the huge basslines and solos of “Andromede", “Culbuto”, the fabulous “Ruhenol" that evolving into a very Cortex-style samba with Hutman killing it on piano, “Usted De Poisson” and finally the insane space jazz of “Zabuco" . Every track is a winner. A must have moreover in this archive condition!
