Description
The City Blues: "Blues For Lawrence Street" 1967, USA/Nouveau Records 5001. Disc is M-, it looks unplayed! Cover is also M-, this is like new! Ultra-rare private garage blues LP from the Los Angeles area reminds me of early Quicksilver Messenger Service, specifically the 1966 pre-Cipollina lineup as heard on those Groucho releases. "Smokestack Lightning", "Goin' To New York", "You Gotta Help Me", etc. Trebly guitars, wailing harmonica, etc. Band is pretty crude but the pressing is great and the cover=wow! This is one of the rarest 1960s California private LPs, I'd put it in league with Stack, Beat Of The Earth, Damon, etc.

All my records are guaranteed. I try to grade strictly enough to please all potential bidders and will note any found flaws with the disc or cover specifically. If you need any more information, feel free to e-mail me at iamthewitch at earthlink.net.
I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
