Description
Beat Of The Earth: "The Electronic Hole" 1970, USA/Radish AS0002. Disc is M-, cover is M- in shrink wrap. A beautiful example of Beat Of The Earth's rarer second LP! Fewer than 200 copies were pressed in January 1970; you won't find one in the wild as they were never sold or distributed, just hidden away forever by the reluctant creator. This LP is totally different than their debut; it has short, skeletal garage psych tracks that sound to me like Stone Harbour meeting up with The Velvet Underground. There's a wiggy cover of Zappa's "Trouble Comin' Every Day", the rest originals. Some sitar, some wicked distorted guitar, in all a very underground vibe. It couldn't have sold at the time, but if you know the story, it wasn't supposed to. You want private? This is the definition of private! Everything I offer is guaranteed. I try to note any flaws with the disc and the cover so that there are no surprises when the box arrives. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.
SHIPPING RATES:
USA: I can send this LP to you by Media Mail for $4.00, or by Priority Mail, which will be calculated after the auction using your zip code. Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take a month to travel 30 miles and in excess of two months to travel cross-country.
CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $8.50.
MEXICO: If you are in Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $12.00.
EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA, Canada, or Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $16.50.
