Here for auction is every vinyl and BEATLES collectors dream the BLACK and GOLD album by THE BEATLES titled * PLEASE PLEASE ME *. an ORIGINAL 2nd MONO thick vinyl pressing released on the BLACK and GOLD PARLOPHONE record label in 1963, catalogue No: PMC 1202, matrix XEX 421-1n and XEX 422-1N. Stamper numbers side 1: 2-GT and side 2: 1/2-GP, this one is the 2nd pressing with the NORTHERN SONGS Publishing Credits for 4 tracks and DICK JAMES MUSIC PUBLIHING for Please Please Me which is a bit strange as I thought on the 2nd pressing it should have been NORTHERN SONGS. The Z- M- T Tax Code is present on side 1. The condition of the ERNEST J. DAY LAMINATED FLIP-BACK SLEEVE with the ANGUS McBEAN Photo Credit over to the far bottom right corner (NOTE further to the right than later copies) overall is V/G, the correct EMITEX inner POLY LINED sleeve is V/G with patent applied for on the left bottom corner, the LABELS and MOST IMPORTANT are EX+!!! and the no less important VINYL is EX Minus!!!, Plays Perfectly both sides, a very good SCRATCH FREE copy apart frm the normal wear and tear from an album that has been enjoyed, NOT PERFECT but NOT TRASHED as most are, NO JUMPS occasional surface noise in between tracks, this is a very rare album to find in this PLAYABLE CONDITION a great future INVESTMENT!!!!
