THIS IS A TRIPLE LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE & INCLUDES A4 TRACKLISTING PLUS LEAFLET
I AM NOT A REGULAR RECORD SELLER BUT DID SOME BRIEF SEARCHES AND FOUND THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
"The BBC didn't keep their tapes. Once a programme was broadcast, tapes were probably wiped to make room for new recordings. They did however, press vinyl records of some shows for broadcast on other BBC affiliates around the world, and the BBC transcription department distributed these.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of their first BBC appearance, the BBC aired the two-hour radio special The Beatles at the Beeb in 1982, featuring a mix of BBC performances and interviews. This two hour program was broadcast in 1982 by Radio Transcription Services and contains interviews and many songs that were broadcast on the BBC."
This item is I believe the 3 LP set by The Beatles. PHYSICAL DETAILS & CONDITION AS FOLLOWS:
One record has blank blue labels (one of which is slightly lifting/bubbling), the other two records have blue labels that state 'Radio Station / Air Play Promotion Only' and labels also have German writing around the perimeter. Number in the trail off area is CBB-20. Gatefold cover is in pretty good shape with some slight wear from handling / storage, THERE IS A TEAR APPROX. 4cm ON THE FRONT WHICH COULD BE FIXED FROM THE INSIDE (SEE LAST PIC). Cover is blank on the inside and blank on the back. Records themselves are like new and look like they have only been played once! I have played a short section of one side just to confirm condition. There is some minimal static dust.
