"Leather Nunn’s only known album is an above average, kickass heavy metal album in the vein of Lizzy Borden, Malice or Phantom. Hailed as a cult classic by collectors of the underground, this one is packed full of attitude and anthems, representing the above-average side of lesser known ‘80s offerings. An advisable outing, yet sits there pretty lonely as the only record the band was able to put out before vanishing into the history books. This record is sought after with good reason; these guys nail it with a solid record with plenty of replay value, that is sure to please even the discriminating collector. There’s some really cool standout numbers like ‘You’re the One’ and ‘Leather Nunn’, on which is a pretty solid album right through, with no especially weak moments. The former features a rip roaring showcase of guitar solo talent and trade offs via Gouchnour and Brewer, as well a strong vocal hook in the chorus – the type of shit you’ll find it hard to resist singing along to. Shit gets ballsy with the badass ‘Another Bite’, with sweet guitar tone carrying the simplistic, crunchy intro riffage, and awesome lyrics, as well as a snarling, menacing delivery by the competent Wade Williams. The band is really able to convey a rebellious attitude in tracks like this one and ‘Leather Nunn’. Things don’t wane with the slower track ‘Take me Back’, which still has that simplistic, crunching catchiness, though being somewhat of a less aggressive number; the solo drives shit home too. ‘Mental Asylum’ is a dark, heavy cruncher with balls, while things are a tads weaker with the mediocre ‘New Life’.There’s not really anything wrong with this offering, though its relative simplicity does show a band that though great, is somewhat still developing, this being their debut record. The only things that could really be improved are some more showier complex vocal touches, a couple of deeper, complex songs, and perhaps a slightly better production job. This is a very strong album, but it feels like the band really would have hit their stride with a follow up in a years time or so. Alas, that was not to be. For whatever reason, Leather Nunn followed that oft’ beaten path of release and disband that plagued so many great acts of the ‘80s, leaving us with only one gem as their legacy. Basically a nice piece of rarer ‘80s heavy metal dripping in attitude, some legit riffs and cool song themes. If you like stuff like Phantom, Chastain, Leatherwolf, Hellion, Banshee etc then there’s no reason you won’t dig this thing. What they get right here is basically uncomplicated, straight up, bangin’ heavy metal. Williams has a an edgy perversity in his voice that works well with the riffs and themes, and the band crafts a fairly solid, no bullshit album from start to finish. No exceptionally powery themes, no existentialism or cheesy love ballads thrown in for mainstream approval – just cool as hell heavy metal with street credentials. Definitely advised, and definitely above average, this one is well worth tracking down."-DeathRiderDoom

I received the album from a coworker, a brother of a band member. Only played a couple times, then taped it and never played it again.

I may not be a professional seller, but this is the real thing! I know its value, as I am sure anyone interested in it does as well!
