Capitol Records

“Revolver”

THE BEATLES

Incredibly rare limited run red label with a purple "Target" circle logo. The 2nd rarest of all The Beatles Capitol LP albums. During May of 1971, Capitol changed the design of the label, going from a lime green to a new red background with the purple "Target" circle label. Shortly thereafter, Capitol began pressing all of its Beatles records with Apple labels. However, a very small, limited number of Beatles albums were pressed with the red labels before the conversion to Apple labels took place. Some sources indicate that there're approximately ten copies of "Revolver" on the red target labels are known to exist, and only four "Yesterday..and Today". Original cardboard cover in its original factory shrink wrap, which doesn't have any tears or splits (except for one spot, the top right of the back cover, which has a light one and a half inch split). The cover is super clean without any ring wear, soiling or age discoloration (except for one small spot at the top right corner on the front) The spine is rigid with a fully readable text. I grade the cover as Near Mint (even though it's very close to Mint). Original red Capitol Records labels with a purple "Target" circle logo and catalog number "ST-2576" (ST-X-1-2576 / ST-X-2-2576). Super clean vivid labels without any hints of spindle wear. Side 1 label has a light insignificant factory defect on the left side. The vinyl was pressed at the Capitol Records, Winchester, Virginia pressing plant and contains the identifiable runout marking, a "Winchester" rifle: ??, on both sides. I grade the beautiful glossy vinyl as Near Mint (Side II) and Near Mint Minus (Side I), which makes this copy ever rarer, considering its condition. The album also comes with the original Capitol Records white paper inner sleeve.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
