The TWO ORIGINAL First Issue MONO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all bearing ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’ and ‘Mfd in UK’ label text. All four record labels are WITHOUT the wording ‘An E.M.I. Recording’.

Matrix/Stamper information:

Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 1/P & Side 2: 1/O.

The TWO Vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags.

….And are housed in a STUNNING, ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED, FIRST ISSUE, TOP OPENING, Garrod and Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve, bearing the LOW NUMBER of just 0006864, clearly printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing.

There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle.

And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse.

Audio Quality:

BOTH discs play EXTREMELY WELL through ALL the tracks, with a STRONG, POWERFUL MONO sound. with only light background crackle (more noticeable on some of the quieter tracks).

Condition:

It has the MOST STUNNING near mint LOW NUMBERED Original FIRST ISSUE sleeve. BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN and WHITE Front, Back and Inner Gatefold, a PERFECT Spine with absolutely NO flaking to the laminate and the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ clearly readable. What is clearly obvious is that the sleeve is EXTREMELY FIRM, STRONG and ULTRA GLOSSY. There is hardly any indication of record indentation to the front and back. The embossed wording ‘The BEATLES’ and the printed low number of 0006864 are VERY CLEAR. There are a couple of insignificant minor bumps to the bottom two corners. The inside of the Gatefold sleeve is in PERFECT condition. The opening edges are FIRM, FLAT and UNDAMAGED. Without hesitation this is the FINEST condition Low Numbered White Album sleeve that we have offered in 13 years of trading!

ALL Four Record labels are in STUNNING near mint condition, CLEAN, UNDAMGED, UNWORN record labels, with nothing more than a few light spider trails around the centre spindle holes.

All four sides of both Vinyl Discs are in excellent condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT, GLOSSY Vinyl surfaces, with only a few light inaudiable surface hairlines.

The four Original GLOSSY colour Photographs are all in GORGEOUS near mint condition.

The Original factory folded Lyric Poster is in SUPERB near mint condition, NO seam splits or tearing to any of the folds and NO handwriting or other damage.

BOTH Original Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags are in very nice excellent condition. There is NO tearing to the die cut centres, NO seam or edge splits, and only inevitable light creasing.

Interesting that the low number begins with ‘68’, the year of the release of The White Album. ORIGINAL and COMPLETE examples of one of the most INFLUENTIAL Albums of the 20th Century will, no doubt, continue to RISE - especially relevant to LOW NUMBERED versions - thereby increasing the longer term INVESTMENT POTENTIAL. It would be HARD TO FIND a low numbered white album sleeve in any better condition than this REMARKABLE example - SENSATIONAL.
