TARBABY: NEWSOUTH Records (NR-4500 - Mfd somewhere in Northern Florida in the late 60's; I've seen this called 'trailer rock") Songs are: BOOTLEG, SO LONG, MY BACK DOOR, BAKED TOMATO, NEW SONG, HAVE YOU SEEN MY BABY?, SWING, MUSTANG SALLY, I NEED YOUR LOVE, and GOTTA FIND ME A WOMAN. As you can see, they wrote everything themselves, except for MUSTANG SALLY--and it's one of the best versions I've heard! I don't know anything about this band, but I posted some audio clips from this album at: www.gate.net/~rhanes/tarbabylp.ra - If you click onto this hyperlink, you down download them as REAL AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself! It's got some A+++ tracks on it. The cover is only a generic white cover. I don't think a regular cover was ever issued with this. I saw a picture of a copy years ago, which had a sheet of paper with the name and song titles hand written; this sheet was scotch taped to the cover. The vinyl record itself looks new. The songs play VG+/VG++. I'd say 2 or 3 play VG+ and the rest are all VG++. I have a small Reserve on this as it is a rare one. I can take PAYPAL.
