Description
It is with tragic circumstances that I find myself having to sell this extremely rare piece of Joy Division history. My brother tragically passed away last month and I now have to re-home his massive collection of vinyl and CD's to help pay his funeral fees.
If you are looking at this auction you know how rare this vinyl is. It is numbered #39, and I believe it to be one of the lowest numbered editions to have ever been on the market available for sale.
I know my brother was the second owner of this vinyl and he never played it. I believe the first owner played it a few times but mainly held onto it for collector value.The condition of the whole package as you can see from the photos is extremely good. The translation page and the advertisement page are included obviously and are in excellent condition.The tracing paper on the middle fold out is intact bar a strip on the right hand side that would be go about 1/3 of the way down. The gum on the paper has discolured due to age. The Sordide Sentimental bag is also included in the package.
I'm starting the auction at a minimal fee but obviously putting a decent reserve fee on it. Over the next few weeks I will be putting various other items available for sale, so keep an eye out to see what comes up.
