LA Slayer and SA Slayer  had shared a bill at San Antonio's infamous rock venue "Villa Fontana" in what has been dubbed as the "Slayer vs. Slayer battle of the bands" when LA Slayer were touring behind their Haunting the Chapel EP. The show was the penultimate San Antonio appearance of S.A. Slayer, on November 30, 1984. The show was conceived, produced and promoted by south Texas concert production company Omni Entertainment. A boutique organization created by two high school students committed to growing the burgeoning San Antonio underground heavy metal scene by booking national touring acts and giving local heavy hitters the opportunity to open.

The only gig featuring both SLAYER's. Recorded live at Villa Fontana, Hemisfair in San Antonio, Texas on November 30th, 1984. Gatefold DOUBLE LP hand-numbered out of 350 copies only!

S.A. Slayer was originally known just as Slayer, but since there was another Slayer (US) at that time and they had already put out an album, they threatened the San Antonio Slayer with a lawsuit, and so they had to put the S.A. before their name. The band has been long disbanded, and the members have scattered to many different bands (Steve Cooper joined Juggernaut, Ron Jarzombek is in Watchtower and Spastic Ink, Don Van Stavern was in the bands Riot and Pitbull Daycare, and drummer Dave McClain had been in both Machine Head (US) and Sacred Reich.
