Sex Pistols "God save the Queen" 1977 UK 7" vinyl single Virgin VS 181. Unprinted plain blue cover / unlabled record.
Oooooh! don't see these very often, do we? The story behind this one: On the back of the publicity of A&M dumping the Pistols, Virgin were rush releasing GSTQ, and prior to release Virgin reps had a few of these to hand out to supportive stores for instore play. The shop I was running in Essex at the time (Downtown Records Romford anyone?) stocked loads of punk, so I got one for me and one for the shop! (Don't ask about the other copy, I don't remember who got it...).
The b-side of the record had a couple of light surface marks at time of delivery, but is otherwise mint / as new (I don't think it got played more than once or twice), the cover has some light creasing and light ring marking. But no rips, splits or heavy creases. Not mint, but still very good and a must for Pistols collectors.
