Extremely high quality condition all around

The only flaws of any kind (LPs, covers, box) are a marking on front of box

(looks worse in photo than up close) and two very slight seam openings

along the tops of SPLHCB

(back record pocket)

and Yellow Submarine;

my guess is that they came out of their original factory shipment that way.

Chances are that since you are looking at this set you probably already know its background -

here's a quick explanation for those who do not:

The set was issued in August of 1982 in a limited run of 1000 sets to be sold as exports primarily to the US

in order to provide an opportunity for US customers to purchase original UK mono issues of each title.

The initial pressing mistakenly substituted the STEREO plate for Side 2 of Sgt. Pepper's;

blogs I have read claim that 325 sets were shipped this way.

This set has the MONO plate press for Side 2 of Pepper's.

Domestic buyers will be responsible for insuring the package and paying for signature confirmation -

this will be required as part of the final payment figure and has been calculated

in the shipping figure as a handling cost of $30.00 based on the opening price.

The same insurance parameters apply to non-domestic shipments

but buyer will also pay for base shipping costs + insurance and Return Signature costs.

Package will be shipped by Priority Mail International. Return Signature will be required.
