12" Pretty Vacant b/w Seventeen and Satellite
Super rare UK Chaos Unreleased 12" White Label Test Pressing. Only 6 of these were ever cut
I will also selling the 7" test pressing in a seperate listing of which there were only 20 made so i believe it is the first time ever both have appeared on the market together.
As a Sex Pistols collector for 25 years, i have never seen one of these come up for sale on the open market, hardly surprising as only 6 were ever made!
In terms of desirability it's maybe not as iconic as the God Save The Queen A&M, however in terms of rarity it surely has to right up there as the A&M regularly appears for sale. Sex Pistols are now one of the most collectables bands ever and a group like no other that defined a generation, changing both music and pop culture forever. One cannot overstate the importance and impact that the Sex Pistols have had on music
On researching this 12" the only information i could find confirming its existance is in the 'God Save The Sex Pistols, A Collectors Guide....' in which it confirms only 6 were pressed
Condition is excellent, it has been in my possession since the mid 80's and has only been played the once to check condition before listing.
On run off grooves on side 1 Is the catalogue number DICK-Z A, along with the words 1977 GAVE YOU THE PISTOLS . 1985 GIVES YOU BAND AID- I FEEL SICK. On run off grooves side 2 are the numbers DICK- Z B along with the words HEY TURD HEADS- THIS WILL BLOW YOUR SYNTHESIZER OUT THE WINDOW!
Stored in temperature controlled, smoke and pet free enviroment
