Description

Sex Pistols: White Label Test Pressing: Pretty Vacant - No Fun

Sex pistols white label test pressing pretty vacant – no fun, in standard white single cover slip.

New Zealand virgin vs184 label.

This was procured from a well known record representative that I got to know in the 80’s.  He said I was lucky to get this pressing as this was the “only one” pressed for him…havn't found any reference to this record in the price guide books (this demo was pressed before the 1st july 1977 official release was on the sky blue label.

Sex Pistols were the most successful and powerful force in punk. They first burst into a moribund music scenes in 1976, but by the time of Syd vicous death – feb 1979, the group had already been disbanded for 12 months. Yet in that short time the pistols established themselves as one of  the truly innovative groups in rock history. And has created a legend that has continued to grow in strength ever since. Record is in excellent plus condition. Some writing on label.

Please Note: Our Preferred delivery is  by New Zealand Post International Air (track n race). UK Buyers please be aware the postage is not 7 Pounds. Please contact me to confirm final payment and wait until invoice is sent before paying. Thank You..

Grading cover/vinyl

LPS are graded visually and conservatively.

M- Near New

EX+ very clean but not M-

EX(+) Just Slightly off from EX+ but better than EX

EX Though not mint still quite nice cover could have a creased corner or very light. Vinyl visually clean something held back the ex+ grade could be extreme light…

EX(-) At least a visual mark on the vinyl but light in nature and should play ok.

EX- Seam splits, ring-wear, cover wear, small sticker tears etc can come into play. Maybe visual marks (eg scuffs, hairline scratches) there may be some light back…

VG+ More wear on covers and more wear on LPs(multiple marks) Most likely surface scratches. The LP should be able to play without skipping and repeating.

Shipping and Handling

All LPS come packed between layers of corrugated cardboard, plus LP'S are housed separate from sleeves. The LP is removed from cover (except sealed LPs) for shipping to prevent damage.
