Description

Factory Seal RCA SPS-33-570 " Get Into Waylon Jennings ".

This is LP record  by Waylon Jennings  is extremely rare, and this one is Factory Sealed!  . I think it has only ever been offered once on ebay in 15 years, and that was about 2 years ago and that LP was opened and played.. This album was NEVER commercially issued; it was a promo LP only, printed on the upper left corner of the back cover  it states “A PROMOTIONAL ALBUM NOT FOR SALE”. There were probably only about 500 (or less) pressed, this copy is probably the only sealed one in existance

Factory Seal Promo only RCA SPS-33-570 " Get Into Waylon Jennings ". This Stereo Record was released in 1972. 100% completely Sealed, only a slight corner bend on lower left, so minor the photo does not even show it.

I will have to assume this LP comes with the publicity poster/insert on Waylon, because I am not going to unseal it to find out .

Next to his very first album "Tt JD's" Bat 1001, this LP is his rarest. Actually this may be rarer, as there may have been less than 500 of these pressed, and for as often the Bat LP appears for sale, this LP almost never does.

Waylon had a very interesting career, starting out he was a friend  and member of Buddy Holly and the Crickets (at the time of the tragic accident on that fateful winter tour), then his great solo work,  and his collaborations with Willie Nelson, Jessi Colter, Jerry Reed, Hank Williams Jr and others. And of course the theme for “Dukes of Hazzard”.

Please remember that this LP Album was never sold in stores.

////////////RECORD GRADING ::: FS=Factory Sealed. /// New= New (or Mint) perfect in every way, record appears unplayed. /// New- = New minus (or Mint minus), record played maybe 1 to 9 times , perhaps a few spindle lines on label, and maybe a sleeve line or two. Covers close to M, has maybe a small corner bend, maybe the very slightest of ring line caused by the record./// VG+ = Very Good Plus, record played a little more than an m- but well cared for. Vinyl has the vast majority of its original luster, may have sleeve lines, maybe a few very lite scuffs; maybe one or two small, very light surface scratches. But not all at the same time. Cover MAY have very minor ringwear, maybe a few other flaws, a minor corner bend or two, maybe a small partial seam split; /// VG = record has the flaws of a VG+, only more of them; may also have some small scratches that are felt with a fingernail. Vinyl is very playable and will play through, good luster. Probably some noise between tracks, maybe in quiet passages. Still, a reasonably well cared for record. /// VG- = proportionally lower than a VG.//// G-It is rare that I will even list a record in this condition; but it will be proportionally lower than a VG-.
