THE HOLLIES Evolution hails from 2016 and is a SEALED 180 gram 2LP set featuring both the Stereo and Mono editions of this release (marked UPC). In terms of quality single releases with irresistible chart appeal and pure musical evolution, there is no doubt that 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Hollies breathed the same rarified air as the Fab Four. In fact from 1963 through to the mid-70's, the Hollies had more hits than the Beatles with 18 Top Tens in that period alone. Evolution, the first of two 1967 albums by The Hollies, finds the Graham Nash led group embracing the psychedelic revolution, adding exotic flourishes to their usual dose of unbeatable vocal harmonies and breathtaking pop compositions. Includes the standouts "Then The Heartaches Begin," "Heading For a Fall" and "When Your Lights Turn On." Along with its successor Butterfly, Evolution is being reissued on double vinyl in 2016 complete with both the stereo and mono editions of the album's original 12 tracks.
