Description
Original first issue on gold label Parlophone (mono) PMC1202 1963. THE BEATLES - Please Please Me. The cover is in VG condition. On the front there is a slight ring mark, a little wear on all four corners and some slight creasing (mainly top right). Along the top white strip there are the very feint remains of somebodys' name which has almost worn away. The back is very clean but has a name in green ink (next to "THE BEATLES"), slight wear along the opening edge. The bottom flip over seam has just over an inch missing from the opening edge and a crease. Also, between "recording first published' and an inch down to "Long Play 33 rpm) it looks like a sticker has been removed and has lifted the top of the paper but no damage has been caused to any print. On to the vinyl - This is in excellent condition. Side one has three very small and very light surface marks (They really are a job to see !) I would grade this as mint-. Side two - This has, as far as I can see, about 8 such surface marks none of which interfere with the quality of reproduction - I've played it through and could hear no clicks etc.The label is very clean with no marks. This, although not M/M, is indeed a very nice copy. Tracks are (if you didn't already know) - I Saw Her Standing There/Misery/Anna/Chains/Boys/Ask Me Why/Please Please Me/Love Me Do/P.S.
