Well, it's time to move this gem along. I've had it many years. I bought it from a woman who got it signed by Mr. Cooke when she was a teenager. That's all the provenance I have. The signature looks absolutely correct to me and I have no reason to doubt the woman's story. She was not a record collector or any collector for that matter.
The A side is a shiny VG++ with clean labels and the signature. The summertime side is a bit worse (Vg+) with the label having the tape you see. It probably can be removed with a moist sponge. The glue on that kind of old tape is usually water based. It doesn't matter much as the money shot is the other side. I believe this is the first Keen Pressing.
These signed records come up very rarely as Sam Cooke met an early demise.
