Description

EMI Columbia Records stereo SAX 2282.  First blue and silver label disc pressed in England. Earliest thin fully laminated sleeve has scalloped flipbacks. Pierre Fournier plays the Schumann Cello Concerto, and the Tchaikovsky Variations on a Rococo Theme.  Sir Malcolm Sargent conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra.  See pics for program details.

Disc: Schumann is NM-, no marks, plays beautifully, with just a few scattered very light bits of surface noise which further cleaning may help, Tchaikovsky has a a couple very small marks in the middle of the side that cause a handful of light tics, VG++, jacket VG+

One of the rarer EMI Columbia stereos.  I'm probably making this sound worse than it is, but I want to be as accurate as possible.  Overall, a very nice copy, with nothing to detract from your enjoyment of the great performances and sound.
