From 1957, comes Sonny Rollins with his LP Blues For Tomorrow on Riverside RLP12243 MONO blue label deep groove original! Scarce LP with five songs. One cut is by The East Coast All-Stars, another cut is by Herbie Mann's Californians. On Side 2, there is a cut by The Sonny Rollins Quartet, The Mundell Lowe Quintet and The Bobby Jaspar Quartet. These are new,previously unreleased versions of the blues played top modern artists, including Sonny Rollins, Herbie Mann, Bobby Jaspar, Mundell Lowe,Coleman Hawkins,Gigi Gryce,John Coltrane, Gene Quill, Jack Sheldon, Jimmy Rowles, George Wallington, Billy Taylor,Paul Chambers, Wilbur Ware,Elvin Jones, Ed Thigpen, Art Blakey and others.
