Finally, here`s your chance to own a US MINT original copy of Shuggie Otis` seminal avant-funk classic, "Inspiration Information", on Epic Records (1974)!

Overlooked by most funkateers (including myself) for many years, thanks to David Byrne and Luaka Bop`s efforts, "Inspiration Information" was re-released to a spellbound new generation of music lovers at the end of the last century. Suffice to say, "Inspiration Information" was to Shuggie Otis` career what "Fresh" should have been to Sly Stone`s: It`s finest as well as its final hour.

NOTE: The copy of "Inspiration Information" on offer here is an ORIGINAL Epic Records (US) first pressing, NOT some cheapo counterfeit!

Grading:

VG++ to MINT- COVER. Apart from a barely noticeable seam split (1½ inches) that, strangely, is to found in a corner (at top left), this cover is basically in MINT- condition. Some light edge wear and very faint price sticker residue (at top right), that`s it!

MINT(-) RECORD with original orange Epic labelling. In about as perfect a condition as you will ever find again: The record looks absolutely unplayed! I examined the item in glaring sunlight and simply stated, it`s perfect.
