Description
Here is a magnificent example of the Beatles "Revolver" LP from 1966 on Capitol Records T-2576. This is a Mono copy and it was released on August 8, 1966. It is still sealed in its original shrink wrap all these years!
I have had this LP in my possession since about 1975 when Capitol discontinued Mono releases.
The shrink wrap is nice and tight all around the cover. There are no rips or tears in the shrink wrap. There is a breathe hole in the front and one breathe hole in the back.
The yellow hype sticker is still adhered firmly to the front shrink wrap. Notice how the sticker is promoting the then current Beatles releases "Yellow Submarine" and "Eleanor Rigby"
There is just some very slight shelf wear to the back.
There is no warping to the package as it was kept in a vertical position next to other Beatles LP's on a shelf.
I have provided photos of the four corners. The photos go from Top Left to Top Right to Bottom Left and then to Bottom Right.
So here is an original Beatles release from 58 years ago, still intact for the next owner to enjoy!
Because of the value of this package, I will ship this LP by "Restricted Delivery," which means that the winner will have to provide Photo ID in order for the Postal Service to release it. Only the winner of the LP can show Photo ID and receive the LP. This protects both the winner and myself.
