This NEAR MINT 1st UK STEREO pressing of their psychedelic opus dates from this album's initial release in December 1968.
The disc bears 'deep-groove' green & silver Decca labels: TXS.103
Matrix numbers: ZAL-8126-T2-5K & ZAL-8127-T2-7K
Stamper codes: 2/CC & 1/UM
Disc weight: 148g
Housed in an immaculate outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover with a 3-D front panel.
Complete with its original red & white 'smoke' design lined inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair with just two faint spindle trails to the side 2 centre hole and just 1 on the other.

Both deep-glossy playing surfaces are remarkably 'as new', with the only blemish from keeping side 1 'MINT' being a very light 7cm fingernail scuff which is non-feelable and does not affect sound or play in any way. Close examination of both sides directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp reveal just a sparkling rainbow shine and not even a single wispy paper hairlines. Both sides of this amazing copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing. You will not find a better example.

This perfect sounding copy received less than a handful of extremely careful plays on high-end equipment by its one previous audiophile owner. My careful play-check detected not a trace of audible wear of any description throughout, and I am happy and confident to describe the sound as flawless. You will not need or possibly be able to find a better copy of this pressing.

Without doubt the best I have seen and could have left the shops this morning, let alone 43 years ago. The laminate all round is pristine and unscratched with just a single tiny 'thumbnail' on the front leaf and a few light scuffs in a certain light on the 3D panel. All corners and edges are in great shape with no bumps or bruising to any or even any wear to any of the exposed edges or delicate centre hinge. All seams are undamaged & unworn and the spine is unbent and in perfect condition. This really is an investment-grade item which would be difficult to replace.
