Description
This vintage 78 RPM record of Robert Johnson's Me and the Devil Blues and Little Queen of Spades on Vocalion is in very good condition. The label maintains it's original gloss with very light wear. The A side "Me and the Devil Blues" (DAL 398 04108a) label is in very good condition with very light wear. On the outer edge of this side there is a small 3/16" wide and 1/8" deep chip which does not show on side B. There are two scratches that can be detected by a thumb nail located near the center on the song. The deeper of them is 1/2" and the lighter scratch is 1 1/4" long. The B side "Little Queen of Spades" (DAL 395 04108b) is also in very good shape with light wear. There are a number of light scratches that can be detected with the thumb nail on this side, the longest of which is extends through most of the song and into the dead vinyl. The matrix numbers on side A are 1- 2, DAL 398 and on side B 1- 2, DAL 395. In the dead vinyl area on the B side the letter G appears on the left of the label and on the right of the label the number 9 appears.
