The Beatles “Please Please Me" 1st UK Press Stereo Vinyl LP
Description:
An Excellent- graded FIRST official Beatles L.P. release. The 1st Press Gold STEREO was released almost as an after thought 6 weeks after the original release date, & possibly waiting for the first of the pressing machines pressing the mono to free up. The very first run of this stereo pressing had the gold printed label and are considered by most as the ultimate Beatle collectable as fewer than 2000 were ever pressed and less than half have ever turned up.
The album contained the 'A' and 'B' sides of their first two singles, plus 10 new songs. All recorded in one incredible session at Abbey Road. The session cost just £400 and lasted 16 hours. This first Stereo pressing was released on April 26, 1963 and is a real treasure for collectors and listeners alike.

Visual Grade: EXCELLENT!
In good natural light the record exhibits a glossy and clean appearance. Under direct halogen spotlight a few short light hairlines can be seen in keeping with an Excellent graded disc. A superb visual example of a difficult record to find in such condition.
Audio Grade: EXCELLENT-!
Overall it sounds fantastic. The first track however begins with distortion/surface noise for five revolutions which resolves to mild background noise and is completely gone by the next ten revolutions, turning crystal clear from then on. Aside from this on the first track only the audio is faultless with great channel separation, crisp vocals and punchy bass from the famous deep-cut early Parlophone pressings. There are no skips or sticks. The disc is completely flat on the turntable. A superb listening experience and a centre-piece to any collection.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT!
The laminate front retain its original glossy sheen with no sign of ring wear. The spine is unworn and fully readable. The matte card back is clean without stains, pen, splits, spotting or discolouration.
Inner: EXCELLENT!
Clean original tracing paper EMITEX inner without splits, pen or stains.
