Description

This is Prestige Folklore Records 14028, Reverend Gary Davis Pure Religion, a green label mono issue of this wonderful record with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in strong VG+ condition showing light marks on both sides and playing quietly with occasional light background sound. The laminated cover has 2" split on the top corner and a bump on the bottom corner with some dirt and a star on the back (see photo 2) and is otherwise intact. The labels are excellent. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is still an excellent collector's grade copy of this great recording.
