Description
ROOM Preflight (1970) ~ RAREST UK Deram Prog LP
+ ORIGINAL B&W photos of Steve Edge & Chris Williams
Room – Pre-flight LP (orig. UK STEREO Deram SML 1073—1970)
Recorded: Summer 1970 ~ release date: November 1970. Running time: 40:00 (approx).
On offer here is an ULTRA RARE album by a PROGRESSIVE ROCK group from Dorset (England) and features the SUPERB dual guitar work of STEVE EDGE and CHRIS WILLIAMS. This LP is rather unusual in that it features a FEMALE lead vocalist, JANE KEVERN. There is an extraordinary addition to this album. Obviously this copy once belonged to a close friend of the group, because there are also three ORIGINAL black and white photos (two of Steve Edge & one of Chris Williams).
I have seen more copies of MELLOW CANDLE and ZAKARRIAS than I have of this LP. So do not miss the opportunity to acquire one of the RAREST BRITISH PROGRESSIVE ROCK albums ever released!

GRADING (also refer digital photos)
Cover:
EX IMPRESSIVE appearance overall, minor handling wear & creasing (scuffing along bottom seam), tiny pinhole (can you spot it?).
Record:
EX visual: beautiful glossy sheen—OUTSTANDING copy overall (M-) except * [see below]; audible: just PLAYED LOUD through 100 WATT speakers and it SOUNDS SUPERB overall (M-); * one surface mark at beginning of side 2 results in several intermittent light ticks as stylus passes over (VG+), however they are overpowered by the HEAVY PROG ROCK coming out of the speakers; labels: some spindle wear.
I PURCHASED THIS LP FROM A REPUTABLE INTERNATIONAL DEALER, AND IT WAS GRADED EX/M- (COVER/DISC).
DISC COMES INSIDE ORIGINAL DERAM INNER BAG.
