Description

From 1977, out of New Jersey, comes this rare religious psych LP by Ron & Shirley entitled Rock And Scroll on C & C Records. Rare private religious psych that ranges from soft cuts to full blown psych! Check out the songs Bad Love Is A Demon and Love Is Real. The LP also comes with two inserts. One is a two-sided lyric sheet and the other is a drawing/advertisement for Ron & Shirley!

Not only is this a great LP, the story behind it is just as good! Ron had been in a 60's Phildelphia psych group. He took LSD in the men's room one night and saw the Devil in the mirror grinning back at him! He then became religious and a private minister! He wrote several books on religion and planned to use this LP in his travelling religious show to help spread the word of the Lprd. After hearing this great LP, I know I would have loved to see the show- unfortunately it never came off!

Top notch winner with paste-on front and rear covers. Reminds me of Jefferson Airplane crossed with Marcus from Kentucky. This record was obtained from Ron personally and NEVER PLAYED!!!
