THIS IS A LOW MINIMUM BID & NO RESERVE AUCTION, SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
This is a very rare EP on the KATONA label, number R 1375 from the TOMMY SCOTT ROAD SHOW, they used to sell that kind of stuff after their gigs on the road during their long journeys 'cross the USA. I don't know how many copies were released, but I was lucky enough to find an handfull of those during one of my travels to the States in the mid 70's & this is one of 'em.
It features various artists who were on the show, Tommy Scott, of course doing 2 fine mid tempo rock-a-billy boppers ''Alone with a memory' & 'Rosebuds' & duetting with Rudy Preston on a pop number called 'Bay-sho-del'. We have 2 more rockin' tracks by Rudy Preston 'Don't you go chicken' & 'Four tired car' .Best song to me is 'Flea circus' by Bobo Baxter, it's a great rock-a-billy bopper with a driving backing and 2 hot rockin' guitar breaks.
Record condition: VG+, there is some dirt on the record, I tried to take it off without any succes. It doesn't affect playing at all, anyway; labels are really clean, no writings, no stickers. Cover is M-, no splits, no writings, no stamps, the red tape you see on the scan was used at that time to assemble both parts of the cover. Some of 'em have green tape instead of red tape, I don't know which is the rarest one!
All records will be well packed and sent at least, the day after I'll get the payment. Shipping charges depends of the buyer's country. It will cost about $ 4.25 for Europa countries & $ 6.50 for the rest of the world.
