2001/Germany/Motor Music ….. here’s a clean original pressing of their rare third lp . The laminated gatefold cover is in clean Excellent condition with moderate creasing and corner ding top right corner on both front and back, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits or writing. The vinyl is in M- condition with only three very light inaudible hairline scuffs. Side one label has some small surface tears from sticker removal. Originally brought to most people’s attention when Trent Reznor selected them to have two tracks featured on David Lynch’s Lost Highway soundtrack (check out this freaky-ass video for ‘Rammstein’ from the movie itself), Rammstein started to fulfill the promise of their debut album ‘Herzeleid’ with their 2nd record, ‘Sehnsucht’. It was the album’s 2nd single ‘Du Hast’ that really started to bring people around to Rammstein’s indutrial stomping sound. Hell, they even got themselves a slot playing the track at the MTV Europe Music Awards off of the back of the track! ‘Mutter’, however, was the album on which Rammstein took everything into overdrive. The songs, the videos, that sinister edge – everything got turned up to 11.

GRADING

MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
