Another great direct disc album. It is titled "Super Strings" (Toshiba Records LF-95010). This direct disc recording from 1977 is part of the Toshiba Pro Use series that they later used to produce the famous half speed mastered versions of The Beatles Abbey Road, and Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon. ------ It is extremely dynamic, and features The Tokyo String Ensemble performing Beatles songs on one side, and Respighi's "Antiche Danze Ed Arie Per Lilito, Set 3, Str. Orch" on side 2. ------ Great sound, and really fun music. ***** The record is pristine with no marks or scratches. The jacket shows average use with no splits or tears. There is some trace of where price stickers used to be on the top right. There is a gold sticker on the back cover stating that it was imported by Audio Technica.
