Description

Up for auction is an extremely rare 1st UK MONO pressing of The Pretty Things 1968 masterpiece "S.F. Sorrow" which is practically impossible to find in this good of condition. I've only seen 3 other copies of this lp in the 30 years that I've been collecting vinyl and all 3 of those copies were in G to VG- condition at best (with noticeable large scratches and scuffs causing loud surface noise throughout). However, this particular copy is a very rare exception. Visually (under very strong light) the vinyl is in EX- condition. There are faint hairlines and minor paper scuffs from the original EMI inner sleeve but these minor imperfections do not detract from the overall sound quality and therefore play grades a solid EX to NM-. This copy sounds AMAZING, especially given the fact that it's a 47+ year old pressing. The laminated gatefold cover is in EX+ to NM- condition (Please see photos). Also includes the original EMI inner sleeve.
