On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Pretty Things called "Get The Picture?" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Fontana label!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST PRETTY THINGS LPS EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' FONTANA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK Fontana 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!! The Cat. No is TL 5280 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Fontana label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, some VERY minor rubbing to one label, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is BRILLIANT visual condition - with the playing grade slightly less (though most of the LP actually plays BETTER than the visual grading)!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light surface traces, and only a few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual - and apart from what is mentioned just below this - it plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  However there are couple of things to mention about the playing of this LP (though ALL are quite minor and overall this LP plays VERY well indeed!).  Firstly I did notice a slight amount of background sound (slightly more on 1 side, less on the other) on the run on grooves and the VERY beginning of the 1st track on either side - though this clears quickly and the rest of BOTH sides plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  And the other thing to mention is that on the VERY beginning on the last track on Side 1 there is 3/4 clicks/pops, and a few brief intermittent touches of surface sound (for 2/3 revolutions ONLY)!!!!  But it is VERY important to note that this is very minor compared to the overall playing quality of the LP - and overall this LP plays BRILLIANTLY!!!! And despite what I have mentioned above - think VERY carefully before passing on this LP - because this is without ANY doubt one of the RAREST Pretty Things LPs EVER and it will surely be a very VERY long time before you see another!!!!  The record must grade visually Very Good++ if not better - with the playing grade as clearly described above.   Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only VERY few creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, barely ANY yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
