Pietro Grossi : Computer Music 2-LP SET

 

Pietro Grossi has been one of the biggest innovators of the italian early electronic music scene by creating the CNUCE(Institute of the national research council of Piza), an institue that centered in electronic music research. He carried out researches in computational musicology, automated composition, design of sound synthesis systems and musical telematics. This 2 record deluxe set released from Fonos Edizioni Musicali 30001-2 in Italy is his first sound document on vinyl dating back from 1971. In record 1 of the set he uses a 360/IBM Model 67 and a TAU1 to transcribe compositions into electronic music, while on record 2 he uses the programs DCMP and PLAY 1800(his own production) and experiments with the computer medium and the various abilities for composition. The package comes in a beautiful opening cover with booklet which is attached by a string on the cover. Must have primitive electronic music from a mastermind!! In excellent condition!!
