OPEN-END INTERVIEW WITH PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS TO PROMOTE THEIR BAND ON THE RUN ALBUM (Produced in London by Fred Robbins for Capitol Records) ~ PRE-OWNED, GOOD CONDITION ~ FREE SHIPPING Back in, especially, the sixties and seventies, record companies would send "open-ended" interview albums to radio stations, whereas the artist had pre-recorded answers to scripted questions that would asked by the radio station's particular DJ. It gave the impression that the artist was actually in the studio answering the questions. This is one of those promotional albums I bought back in the seventies in one of the many (at the time) great records shops in Greenwich Village, NY. It's Paul McCartney answering questions for his then-upcoming album, Band on the Run. This comes complete with the script that the disc jockeys were given to read from. It's a very cool item, especially for Beatles/McCartney fans. **Please note: The record is in good condition. Yes, some "static sound" can be heard, but it doesn't detract from the overall listening experience. It comes in a plain white album cover sleeve, which shows some aging.
