LP : V.A. OST Engelchen --Tanzmusik Für Abgeschlaffte

Original German pressing from 1968 on CORNET SPECIAL, cs 16011. Cover is still mainly in it's original shrink, pl. read below. Original Sound Track to the film by Rob Houwer, the title translates as “Angel Baby – Dance Music For Wilted People”. The story is about Katja ( = Gila von Weitershausen), a 19-year old girl who moves from the boonies to Munich, she is still a virgin, and the slippery topic is: will she remain like this or will she get lost in the permissive big city...not really as porn as some people pretend to but a charming late 60ies document of swinging Munich. Contains some nice Kraut-Psych-Funk, Beat-Instros, Lounge- & Mod-Jazz and more; the J.Loussier title-track plays well in the club, the Antolini track (written by Francis Coppieters) was so “hot” that is was even released as a 7 inch record.

You can watch a kind of trailer on youtube ( Angel Baby Loussier), but unfortunately there's none of the top-tracks to be heard.

Condition: the record looks mint- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks ex+ under a very strong halogen lamp. It plays in mint-.

The cover is still mainly in it's original PVC shrink, the front is completely covered and the back is covered for ca. one half. It shows just slight shelfwear ( e.g. ringwear and slight darkening of the white colour on the back in the non-PVC-covered part), all seams/spine are intact with just slightest rub in a few spots; overall vg++.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie ex+ aus. Sie spielt in mint-.

Das Cover ist zum überwiegenden Teil noch in der originalen Einschweißfolie, die Vorderseite komplett und die Rückseite auf ca. der Hälfte. Vorder- & Rückseite zeigen nur leichte Lagerspuren ( z.B. etwas Ringwear und Nachdunkeln auf der Rückseite im Bereich ohne Folie), alle Kanten sind intakt mit ganz leichtem Abrieb an einigen wenigen Stellen (z.B. rechte untere Ecke); insgesamt in vg++ .

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
