Item description:
Official In-house UK Platinum 12" award presented to Alan McGee in 1998 for sales of more than 600,000 copies and signed on the back by Alan McGeee himself, definitely ONE OFF ITEM!
As you can see by the pictures this award has the CENTURY DISPLAY sticker on the back . Century Display was the company who made certified awards in the 90s and only genuine awards come with this sticker.
Item comes with COA from one of Alan's family members and with my own COA.
The reason why the plaque says 1998 is that Wonderwall first reached platinum (600,000 sold copies) in 1998.
