Description
Please see other listings for some inexpensive good jazz and some very rare good jazz records also.
1962 Prestige 7221 with Bergenfield address, reissue of 7007 then called the Musings of Miles in 1955. They must have been in a hurry to get this one to the radio stations; in the trail off on side A they scratched in PRLP 7007A and scratched through it, scratched in PRLP 7122A and scratched that out and settled for PRLP 7221 A; RVG is also scratched in, not stamped; on the B side PRLP 7007B is crossed out and the put in PRLP 7122B, RVG is also scratched in; the picture of the B side label is to show the label, it is pretty obvious it left Prestige that way, there is a BB hole through cover and record, back cover is pretty nice, no promo stamps or names; labels have a few light spindle marks but record doesn't show much play at all, ditch under label both sides; about four very light scratches under a bright light, should clean to a nice vg+. Songs: Will you still be mine; I see your face before me; I didn't; A gal in calico; A night in Tunisia; Green haze.
I'm selling these records for a friend, I have been collecting records for quite a few years and have over 3,000 of my own so I can tell you without reservation that many of the records I am selling now are very rare, hard to find in decent shape if at all. I grade very critically as if for my own purchase because I hate white noise, even if it is a rare record I want it to play well. I love going through DJ records because you never know what you're going to find; here in a jazz DJ's collection are a few of the best blues artists and a first issue, first album Dylan.
These records are selling at the price the auction brings; hopefully the more records I list, the more viewers there will be with interest and I am listing most at 99 cents or 9.99; there will be a few exceptions and those will be the records I'm willing to buy myself if there are no bids higher than the listing price and if I bid a little low it's because I like more than one.
See additional listings for the next few weeks; a mid fifties to sixties jazz DJ's collection; 600 plus albums and 3 to 4 hundred 45s will be listed. 1st listing will be a sampler of what is in the collection but there will be a cool surprise or two or three such as a Green Light 0001 Ventura's Heart of Love.
I will combine shipping and have no problem holding invoicing till you have five records; records are shipped separate from the cover, record in sleeve unless you request otherwise, cover and record in a plastic sleeve, bubble wrapped in a record mailer to US or Over Seas. One record to US under $20.00 value will be 3.40 media mail; overseas Actual cost plus $1.00 for the mailer. Over $20.00 the mailer will be included overseas and $1.00 will be deducted for US shipments, just actual postage cost will be invoiced if you request an invoice. Insurance arranged at actual cost, wait for your invoice. Additional records are at actual postage costs only, I have an accurate scale to tenths to give you quite accurate pricing for combined orders.
Reduced shipping fees; for every 20.00 spent on a record or combined order of 5, receive 1.00 off actual cost of shipping up to free shipping.
OVERSEAS:
As to Declared value I understand why ebay and paypal are doing what they do with shipping and insurance but you are my customer, in their building I suppose but it is your order. I will work with you.
To save on listing fees I will be listing most items at a starting price of .99 or 9.99. Thank you for looking and happy bidding, satisfaction guaranteed.
