               Producer's note:

               The masters for this set were remixed from the original analog three-track masters, greatly improving upon the sound of

               all previous issues greatly and eliminating some distortion that appeared on the original 7-CD set issued in Japan.

               However, throughout the live recording, there are times when the engineer is changing settings on the recording console,

               musicians are off mike or Miles causes distortion by playing too close to the mike, all making for a less-than-consistent

               and trouble-free sound.

               Several tunes were edited in all previous issues because segments of these performances were missing when a reel of tape

               ran out, and had to be changed. By finding a second set of reels which covered those missing segments, we were able to

               restore all tunes to full performance. Thus, the following restorations: the tenor saxophone solos on Walkin' (first night,

               first set), Milestones (first night, second set), On Green Dolphin Street (second night second set) and Milestones (second

               night, third set), the trumpet solos on Four (first night, second set), No Blues (first night, third set) and I Fall In Love

               Too Easily (second night, first set), the second trumpet solo on No Blues< (second night, third set), the entire tenor

               saxophone and piano solos on Yesterdays (second night, fourth set) and the trumpet/tenor dialogue on The Theme  (second night, fourth set).

               Because of the length of each tune, some sides are very long, which means there is less-than-optimum volume on most of

               the LPs. Despite the lengthy pieces, we have been able to preserve the actual performance order, except in set three of the

               first night where the third tune, I Fall In Love Too Easily, comes before (All Of You and Oleo).
