Description
This is the first promotional pressing of Broken English, featuring the infamous cautionary sticker on the front of the jacket warning against potentially unsuitable language. This sticker only appeared on this original edition, along with a "Promotional Copy" sticker (not a stamp).
The disc has the Sterling Sound stamp on the run-out groove and was mastered by Greg Calbi. The labels are the original pale blue Island design dating to when the company was distributed by Warner Brothers.
The jacket is in EX++ condition with minimal shelf/ring/edge wear. The top left corner is slightly dinged and there is a faint crease in the bottom right. The inner sleeve is a heavy, glossy cardboard featuring items from the Island Records catalog in full color.
The disc is near mint, with minimal signs of play wear. Gleaming and bright with only light shadowing or hairlines from the inner sleeve.
