PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. When someone is considering buying an underground Lp collectible, the inevitable question is "OK, how's the sound quality?" Back in the 1960s and 1970s, some underground LPs had a reputation for having inferior sound quality. A lot of 1960s and 1970s were actually much better than that stereotype, but because so many thers from that time were, in fact, plagued by poor sound quality, buyers tend to proceed with caution when they're acquiring such recordings from that era. But Rolling Stones addicts needn't worry about inferior sound if (IF) they come across a copy of "Naples Italy 1982", which surfaced briefly nearly 20 years ago and spotlights an incredible July 17, 1982, show at Stadio Paolo (Paolo Stadium in English) in Naples, Italy. The sound quality is excellent, (straight off the mixing board) as are the Stones' performances - in this thrilling double set. The thing that makes "Naples Italy 1982" appealing is its rawness; instead of going for an ultraslick presentation, the Stones favor a tough, forceful, almost punk-like approach. In the late '70s and early '80s, the punk movement was giving rock & roll a good, healthy kick in the ass -- and that fact doesn't seem to be lost on the Stones when they passionately rip into exclusive versions of their past classics that range from "Let's Spend the Night Together," "Brown Sugar," and "Tumbling Dice" to "Miss You," "Hang Fire," "She's So Cold," and "Satisfaction." To the Sex Pistols and the Ramones, feeling and emotion were more important than chops or precision; judging from how gritty and gutsy this Naples set tends to be, you wouldn't have gotten an argument from Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in 1982. That isn't to say that the musicianship of the Stones is lacking on "Naples Italy 1982", but there is definitely a great deal of roughness on these hard-edged, inspired performances. "Naples Italy 1982" is well essential to virtually any fan of the Stones, and all things considered, it is an exciting document of the Stones' European tour of 1982. Side 1:Just My Imagination
