- SLEEVE DESIGN: Beautiful colour photograph of Meic in the foreground dressed in black standing in a wood, while a mysterious lady dressed in white stands behind him watching a chess game in which the Devil participates.
- LABEL DESIGN: Red & White label with 'SAIN' at the centre.
- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: "GOG" is one of the rarest acid folk records to come from the UK during the folk boom of the 1970s. It's a record packed with the most moving folk tracks and sung in the lyrical Welsh language with extreme beauty by the legendary Meic Stevens. This record is in Meic Stevens's top three greatest releases. This record was pressed in incredibly small numbers on the Welsh independent label Sain and sold poorly. It is now almost impossible to track down. I have been dealing in records from South Wales for 14 years and this is the first copy I've been able to offer for sale. A magnificent long-player and an extraordinary work of art. This record is hard to find in any condition, but almost impossible to discover in this kind of shape. MEAN AND LEAN, WITHOUT AN OUNCE OF FAT. PLEASE NOTE: BOTH THE VINYL AND SLEEVE ARE IN GREAT SHAPE: The sleeve has a tiny bit of ring-wear to the textured sleeve on both front and back, while the vinyl has a couple of incredibly small, slight surface marks to both sides. I promise these faults do not spoil the enjoyment of this Monster Rarity and are nothing to worry about. STRICTLY GRADED.
