Thanks for checking out my albums! I've been collecting records for 20 years or so, to re-live my youth. Oh to be in the 60's again, far out man, but its time to give up those days. Well, maybe I'll just sell a few albums and think about it, I'm not that old, I can still party with the best of them, as long as the parties over by 8:00. Anyway I'm sure you will find the albums I put up for bid will have some tear stains on them, I mean they are some pretty decent 1st pressings, or HTF releases. Lots of Beatles, late 50's and 60's. Oh yeah, quite a few Audiophile pressing too.
You're bidding on a STEREO copy of "Meet the Beatles" the first label variation. Perry Cox "Price guide for the Beatles" ref# CAP 2047.SR1A, page 133. No BMI or ASCAP credits. It's speculated that 20,000 mono copies, of this label variation were released and only 2,000 Stereo copies. Good luck to all!

PRESSING INFO: 1964 - First stereo release for Capitol.. Matrix numbers ST 2 2047 - A 1 and ST-1-2047 B2.
ALBUM COVER: VG+ (Weak)
Front~ The front cover slick itself, shows really nice. No ringwear or names.
Back~ Shows general age wear. One dark spot along the spine edge. No ringwear or names. Shows # 3 next to the RIAA symbol (see pic).
Spine~ Clean, no cracking or splitting.
Seams~ Clean, free from splits, cracks and wear.
Corners~All 4 corners, without bumps or bends.
Record Mouth~ Straight, clean edges.
Gate fold Inside Single cover.
Inserts~ None
Comments All album covers are inspected very closely. You can rest assured there will be NO surprises when you receive your album.
VINYL:
Visual Grade~ VG (SOLID). Light surface scratches and paper scuffs. Still very glossy.
Play Grade~ VG+ A very nice listening experience, a few light pops between a some songs. These early pressings off the stamper have a real nice dynamic range to them!!!
Labels Clean, bright and glossy. Some spindle marks on both sides, but, they do not stand out, you've got to really look for them.
Record Sleeve~ Original deep blue paper sleeve.
Comments~ All vinyl is cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning system.
Shipping Info: All albums are packaged with record and cover separated by a cardboard insert. Bubble wrapped together and package in a new record mailer.
