Up for grabs here is a RARE copy of Led ZeppelinS DEBUT LP, this is a true FIRST PRESSING!
The sleeve has TURQUOISE lettering
The labels are RED & PLUM
The labels have SUPERHYPE credits
The matrix is 588171 A//1 588171 B//1 UNCORRECTED
What is interesting is that on side one track 3 is credited twice, it reads 1, 3, 4, Superhype Music and 3. Jewel Music, it should read 1, 2, 4 Superhype and 3. Jewel. Due to this misprint label track 2 on side 1 is NOT CREDITED. I believe this points to it being one of the very earliest pressings.
The sleeve is in excellent overall condition for its age, the spine is FULLY LEGIBLE with a minor split halfway down, there is light wear and a few light creasings due to age but still a good collecatable example of this RARE cover. This sleeve has both 'Atlantic' and 'Led Zeppelin' written in TURQUOISE LETTERING
The red/maroon FIRST PRESSING labels are in really nice shape, 588171 UNCORRECTED A//1 B//1 with SUPERHYPE credit, vibrant colouring and no damage, double crediting for track three on side one, NO CREDITS for track two.
The vinyl has been played and shows sign of light hairlines and some surface wear when subjected to the correct light, nothing too heavy or deep and is still pretty shiney. There is a mark on the outer edge of the record that does not affect the playability. The record is still of EXCELLENT quality when played.
PLEASE refer to the pictures provided, I hope they are good enough - it wasnt the easiest thing to photograph!
